The Shining

Overview

Jack Torrance accepts a caretaker position at the isolated Overlook Hotel, where he, along with his wife Wendy and their son Danny, must live in isolation for the winter. But they aren't prepared for the madness that lurks within. Directed by Stanley Kubrick and based on Stephen King's novel, The Shining is a masterwork of psychological horror that uses the vast, empty hotel as a character in itself.
