Overview

In this documentary, we examined the life of a woman who works in a crematorium This woman has decided to devote her life to the delicate task of burying the dead, despite the taboo and stigma attached to her profession. Her experiences in a field dominated by men, the emotional cost of working with human remains, and their particular outlook on life and death are all revealed via their stories. Beyond the Flames provides these frequently ignored women a voice and highlights the significance of their contributions to our culture
