The Talisman

Gina Serventi is looking forward to meeting her best friend, Diane Patterson, at the Medieval Faire. But when a dead body turns up near the fairgrounds, Gina is horrified to discover that it's Diane! Ginas only real clue is a letter Diane had sent her just before she died. In it she told Gina about a magic pendant she hid near the Night Owl Club. Gina finds the ancient talisman--only to discover that it possesses supernatural poowers. Now, as a weird, shadowy guy starts stalking her, Gina must figure out the secret of the Talisman before the wicked forces that destroyed Diane destroy her as well! (taken from back cover)
